Having Less Than I Need Drives Me To Work More

Musings of an Entrepreneur

I make the most of what I have until I am able to acquire all I need. I am at peace with the blessings bestowed upon me. However, I am also confident that more blessings are still to come.

I make it a point to work hard and then claim what is out there for me, so the reward is that much sweeter in the end.

My needs are not only material, but also spiritual. I need and deserve inner peace, love, and happiness. I know that although I have a certain level of all three spiritual attributes, I deserve more.

So I work towards creating more peace, love, and happiness in my life, as well as in the lives of those I love. When the people I love have all three, I also achieve greater levels in my own spiritual life.

Today, I work hard and gleefully claim what is rightfully mine from that work. When I want more, I work harder and smarter. There is only goodness in store for me in the future.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. Do I sometimes get disheartened when things do not go my way?

Yes, I do. I do have periods when I am not and then I have to go to Psalm 43:5

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

2. Do I share my blessings with others so they too can develop the drive to achieve more for themselves?

Yes, I do to those that will receive it.

3. Am I satisfied with what I have?

Most times.

Retrospecting on your life, your accomplishments, your failures, the things that made you laugh or cry is good for the soul. It helps you to see where your going and how far you are from the end of your journey.

I hope that you didn't mind my sharing and in my sharing it helped you some.
